Doing the big lap

After more than twenty years creating murals, custom automotive artwork, museum pieces and themed environments across Western Australia, James is taking Creative Works Studio on the road.

As he travels through regional and remote Australia, James will be available for selected commissions along the route - from large-scale murals and community artworks to one-off custom vehicles, bikes and specialist airbrush work.

Whether the canvas is a building, a workshop wall, a classic car or a motorcycle tank, each project is individually developed and painted by hand.

What James can create along the way

James will be available for selected projects throughout the journey, working with councils, businesses, community groups, creative studios, vehicle owners and local trades.

Projects can be planned in advance or developed in collaboration with people and places encountered along the route.

Collaborating along the way

James is keen to connect with local spray painters, restoration workshops, fabricators and creative studios throughout the journey.

He can join an existing project for the specialist artwork stage, assist with overflow work or collaborate on something completely new.

Is James heading your way?

We'd love to hear about your project!

Desert Road

Every place has a story.

Whether you're a regional council planning a public artwork, a workshop looking for a custom paint job, a community group creating something memorable, or someone with an idea you've never quite known how to bring to life, we'd love to hear it.

If James is travelling through your area, let's start the conversation.
